In modern times, camel bone’s functionality has been increased by the use of dyes and pigments to change its look and character. Our camel bone materials have been naturally harvested, fully dried, and have been dyed under pressure to insure complete saturation of the coloring effect. They have also been resin stabilized to maximize their performance and eliminate warpage. Each camel bone handle scale set has been inspected for conformation, size, and quality. The underside of each handle scale has been flat ground to ensure proper fit-up on the mounting surface.
